- SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has a requirement for data analysis and forecasts to assess national and local area commercial real estate conditions. The data analysis and forecasts will be used to assess credit risk at nationally chartered commercial banks and must include the following property segments: office, apartment, industrial, retail and hotel. The data and forecasts must be comparable across all markets, and cover a minimum of 50 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) nationwide. It is anticipated that the base period of the contract will be from April 1 through September 30, 2002 and will include four option years, if exercised. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site, FedBizOpps.gov, the beginning of March 2002. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC?s requirements, the instructions for submitting a quotation (proposal), and how the quotations will be evaluated. E-mail your interest in this requirement to thora.stanwood@occ.treas.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding a contract by the end of March 2002 using the simplified acquisition process under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items in Subpart 13.5. #####
