- The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to award a sole source, fixed price contract to NC Division of Marine Fisheries, P.O. Box 769, Morehead City, NC 28557, for the purpose of providing funds for the year 2002 as required under Memorandum Understanding (MOU) number 1448-40181-02-K003. Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253?(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ?(ii), this requirement has been justified and approved under FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. Supplies/Services are available from the original source and substantial duplication of cost to the Government is expected through competition. The required funds for personnel costs, Office Infrastructure, telephone, fax use, copy paper, copy machine expenses. Office machine maintenance and auditing services as necessary. These services are provided to the South Atlantic Fisheries Coordination Office which is maintained, controlled and located at the NC Division of Marine Fisheries office, with whom the MOU has been established. This notice is neither a request for a proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. No responses are necessary.
