- Description
- This requirement is for information technology support services. The Department of State, the Office of Acquisition Management seeks potential offerors to provide a 24-hour round the clock system operations, system integration, system support, and maintenance services for the Government owned research information support systems. The systems' infrastructure is based on a DE VAX4600 processor operating under VMS in a cluster. Each of the four cluster nodes contains a 4600 central processor with a GESCAN text array processor and MS Windows/NT operating system using the complete MS/OFFICE suite for office automation. The Government requires the total of approximately 11 combined labor categories for a period of five year; the base year and four option years. In order to perform in a secured environment all personnel working under this contract must possess, or eligible for a top secret clearance with SCI. The contractor must also possess or obtain a TOP SECRET with SCI cleared facility prior to contract award. The procurement is a full and open competitive requirement. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 5, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration.
