- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to acquire both general IT support and specific Oracle development and support services. The IT support services that are required include the integration of software, hardware, SQL database development and communication systems for both local and wide area networks. These services will include acquisition, configuration, installation, maintenance, and integration of IT and communications hardware, as well as technical support services. The Oracle effort required will be for database administration and development support services. A full range of services is required to support all phases of the Corporation's data and Systems Development Life Cycle. These phases include business process re-engineering session or requirements definition support, design, development, integration, deployment, support, and maintenance for all components associated with the Corporations data and database systems. Contractor support will also be provided to support the Corporation with management, technical assistance, and acquisition support services. The proposed contract will also include research and development services necessary to analyze and implement technological improvements to the Corporation's communication networks, end-user computing activities, database systems, and potential technology refreshment of software, hardware, or communications infrastructure. This technology refreshment will cover the infrastructure servers, end user devices, and the communications infrastructure as they relate to end user support of database systems and services. This requirement is set-aside for contractors in the SBA 8(a) program. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541513, Computer Facilities management Services. It is estimated that the solicitation will available in hard copy only on or before March 15, 2002. All requests for a copy of the solicitation must be in writing. Telephonic requests will not be honored. All inquiries must be in writing. All technical questions regarding this requirement will be addressed after the release of the solicitation.
