Description
SIR Description: In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS), the FAA Western-Pacific Region hereby publicly announces that it intends to solicit a Request for Offers. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this project is 234990. <P> The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, transportation, equipment and service for the removal and replacement of 2 Kitchen roof exhaust fans EF-360 and EF-420 and fire suppression system, and EF-400 and AHU 350 supply fans on roof of Cafeteria Admin Wing First Floor. Work shall include but not be limited to: electrical and control wiring, conduits, metal enclosures, power, control, starters, remove dry fire suppression systems and replace with new wet fire suppression systems, dry clean 3 range hoods, exhaust ductwork, vibration isolaters, air duct cleaning, air balancing. Perform all work in strict accordance with FAA specifications and drawings. <P> The FAA will evaluate offers and award a contract that is the best value, giving due consideration to: past performance on same or similar work; capacity and capability for firm to perform the work; financial and bonding capability; firm?s organizational structure; total cost to the FAA. The FAA may make award without communication or negotiation, however, communication and/or negotiation may be conducted with one or more of the offerors to determine best value. <P> The first 15 interested contractors are hereby being solicited for this project and will be added to a ?Bidders Mailing List?. Request for solicitation must be received at the designated office no later than 1:00PM February 27, 2002. Any request for solicitation received after this date, regardless of the method transmitted will not be honored. Request for solicitation must identify the solicitation number and must be made in writing to Western-Pacific Regional Office, Acquisition Management Branch, AWP-55, P. O.
