- Description
- FISC Norfolk Det. Phila intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with the Economic Development Corporation (EDC)New York. The solicitation effort will be conducted as a commerical items acquisition effort IAW FAR part 12. The EDC will provide docking space to the U.S. Navy for a one year period of performance starting 1 April 02. The requirement will contain nine one year option period. It is anticipated that approximately 20 US Navy ships will visit the EDC Staten Island facility with an average stay of 5 days. A requirements contract is the expected result of this acquisition effort. FEDBIZOPS Note 22 applies to this procurement effort. The SIC code is 488330.
