- This acquisition is a restricted set aside for certified HUBZone small business concerns subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 234110. This project is located within the National Historic District at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation have approved the project drawings and specifications. The Base Historic Preservation Officer must approve any deviations. This project involves furnishing and installing of all specified materials and equipment for the construction of a detention basin and its extension to an existing storm sewer. Plus, the project calls for the removal and construction of a new alleyway behind the Historic Quarters, including lowering the alley profile, installation of curb and gutter, and reconstruction of garage aprons, asphalt parking areas, and sidewalks. It will also require construction of a storm drainage channel with associated culverts. Items included, but in no way limited to, are associated grading, excavation, demolition to construct the drainage improvements, other new contours in the area and any replacement work necessary due to the proposed construction and lowering and relocating some utility lines. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days. There is a winter exclusion period for this project starting 1 October and continuing through 30 April. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about February 19, 2002, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal - Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov. Select EPS for Vendors then select the following items for each subsequent index: USAF - OFFICES; Air Force Space Command - OFFICES; 90 Contracting - Posted Dates.
