- NA The U.S. Army Signal Command has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certifie d by the state of Kentucky, shall provide local commercial communications service for Fort Campbell, Kentucky which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, 911 trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement must indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees ? NAICS 51331 and 51333. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be r eleased on or about 16 Nov 01. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site vi sit on 20 Feb 02 at the Fort Campbell ITBC, building 907, Bastogne Drive, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30 (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 ? 12:00 noon. Offerors planning to attend are requir ed to notify the specialist listed below, in writing, of all attendees? names (not to exceed three per company) prior to 15 Feb 02. An e-mail response to the specialist listed below is acceptable. Questions received prior to the conference must be receiv ed before 15 Feb 02. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be received before 7 Mar 02. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
