- GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort for information technology services providing Automated Data Capture Software, Image Storage and Retrieval Software and Maintenance Support for the U.S. Census Bureau, Jeffersonville, IN. The requirement is for each of the following items and quantities: Automated Data Capture software: Quantity (1 each) Form Processing Station, Design, ID, Extract, QA, Exception CGK, Voting, BarCode, CP and VB Quantity (15 each) ID/Extract Station, ID BarCode, Extract BarCode, CGK, Voting, CP, VP Quantity (8 each) Scan Level 3 Quantity (8 each) QA Station Quantity (2 each) Client/Server Processing Server, JobMgr Module Quantity (2 each) Information Exchange, OCRFF Source, Job Scheduler, VB, ODBC Destination Image Storage and Retrieval Software: Quantity (1 lot) FDD, Cold Module Quantity (1 lot) FDD EDSTOR Quantity (1 each) FDD Job Sweeper/Vortex Quantity (1 each) Quick Integrator Pro Quantity (1 each) Object Cold Quantity (1 each) Export Module Quantity (1 each) FDD Scan Station Quantity (1 each) View Station 25 User This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TC5702C154. This RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27, NAICS Code 511210, Computer Software Publishers, packaged, applies. Size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is to provide the software maintenance identified. Period of performance is through December 2003. FAR 52.252-2 applies to this acquisition. Award shall be made based on cost. QUOTATIONS SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3. FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition -- FAR 52.212-5(b): The following additional FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33.
