- This solicitation is to obtain Tree Services and Vegetation Control at Various U. S. Navy Family Housing Areas and other COMNAVMAR Activities, Guam, M. I. by means of Combination Firm Fixed and Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, technical expertise, supervision, tools, materials, transportation and equipment necessary to prune trees, remove trees, stumps, and roots as specified. All work shall be accomplished under the direct supervision of a certified arborist. Each location where tree maintenance or removal is done shall be under the direction of a qualified tree worker. The Contractor shall provide proof of certification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days after award. This procurement is one-hundred percent (100%) set-aside for Small Business concerns. The small business size standard is $6M. The term of the contract is for Base Year and Four Option Years of 12 months each. The Government may extend the term of the contract in accordance with the Option to Extend the term of the Contract Clause. The extimated dollar range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 for the base and four option periods. No hard copy will be provided. Approximate date of availability of specification is on or about 14 February 2002. A site visit will be conducted on 26 February 2002, if you plan on attending the site visit. All prospective bidders will meet at the Contract Office, PWC Bldg. 101 ground floor, prior to proceeding to the site locations. Bid Opening is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Guam Time on 18 March 2002.
