- Description
- Subject: SP0100-02-R-4033. A request for proposals will be issued on an unrestricted basis for the manufacture and delivery of PARKA, Extreme Cold Weather, N3B NSN:8415-00-376-1672(s). This item is to be made in accordance with MIL-P-6279L. The solicitation will result in an Indefinite Delivery / Quantity Contract for a minimum quantity of 35,000 and a maximum quantity of 72,000 parkas. 4 Monthly deliveries will be required starting 150 days (or sooner) after the date of award. Deliveries are required to be made to the Defense Depot at New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. This solicitation will utilize Best Value Source Selection Criteria for award evaluation purposes. Offerors must submit technical proposals along with price proposals. Product Demonstration Models will be required. Other factors that will be evaluated are Experience / Past Performance Proposals, Surge Proposals, and various Socio-economic factors. (See solicitation for details) A 50% Term Option Provision will be included. Offerors will be required to submit pricing on the term option. Previous award history: Last award was in 1996. Propper International unit price was $75.69 for a quantity of 12,000 parkas.
