- NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source contract to Microsoft Corporaion of Redmond, WA for Microsoft Premier Support. The USACE requirement is for Microsoft Premier Support to provide up to 200 Technical Account Manager hours for p roactive, technical consulting and account management services, Technical Support and Technical Information Services for 1 year. SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informaion included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DACW72-02- T-0014, which is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation incorporates provision and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. NAICS code is 541519. The period of performance for the support is March 2002 through April 2 003. The following FAR provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Additional FAR and DFAR clauses are applicable: 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.232-33, 252.225-7001. Offeror shall include a completed copy of t he provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their quote.
