- Description
- The DoS proposes a six-month extension of Contract No. S-OPRAQ-97-C-0008 with TRW, Inc., Fairfax, Virginia, through September 30, 2002. The required services under this contract are system integration, system operations, system support and maintenance, including 24-hour round the clock systems operations for the INRISS. The INRRISS' infrastructure is based on a DE VAX 4600 processor operating under VMS in a cluster. Each of the four cluster nodes contains a 4600 central processor with a GESCAN text array processor and MS Windows/NT operating system using the complete MS/OFFICE suite for office automation. The Government requires the total of 11 combined labor categories, full time employment. The estimated value of the contract services for the extended period will be $600,000.00. In order to perform in INR's secure environment, all personnel working under this contract must possess(or be eligible for) top secret clearance with SCI. The contractor must also have a SCI cleared facility. Currently, the DoS is processing a new procurement action to replace this contract.
