- DOD, description should have read: DOD, intends to negotiate with Dr. John P. Glennon to edit manuscripts prepared for publication by the OSD Historical Office. The chapters will come from Volumes V, VI, and VII in the series, History of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, as well as a study on the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Defense of Europe, 1953-1961. The contractor will also assist in revising the OSD Historical Office style guide and with updating the book, the Department of Defense: Documents on Establishment and Organization. The contract will be for a total three year period (an initial one year period with two one-year options to renew services).
