Description

In accordance with the Default Clause, FAR 52.249-8, The U.S. Special Operations Command has a requirement to re-procure specific MD500 series and MELB (Mission Enhanced Little Bird) helicopter parts. The requested parts are listed as Exhibits A, B, and C, and are downloadable at this site for review. All parts supplied must be FAA certified, Aircraft Manufacturer approved, or previously approved by the Government for the specific aircraft. Aircraft Manufacturer is defined as an establishment primarily engaged in manufacturing or assembling complete aircraft. The Contractor shall not deviate from the parts lists without the prior written approval of the Contracting Officer. The parts shall be delivered to and warehoused at Raytheon E-Systems, Lexington, KY. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining minimum balances of each part they are awarded. The quantities and delivery schedule will vary due to balance of parts on hand. The Government anticipates more than one award resulting from the solicitation. The contract performance period shall be not more than 5 years (Base period, plus four 1-year option periods). The point of contact for this acquisition is Shirley Powell, (757) 878-5223, x248.
