Description
The Marine Corps Support Activity has a requirement for pruning, removal and cleanup of debris from trees and shrubs damaged in an ice storm. The contractor will supply all material labor, transportation, supervision and equipment to prune, remove downed or excessively damaged trees, clean up branches, chip for mulch, deliver mulch to designated area, and dispose of all other debris off site. Completion schedule is 30 calendar days. All work shall comply with local city and state regulations. The site location is the Marine Corps Support Activity, Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport, Kansas City, Missouri, with a cantonment area of approximately 83 acres. The NAICS code of 561730 and Size Standard of $5.0 M applies to this acquisition. The RFQ will be conducted under simplified acquisition procedures with award based on price, past performance, schedule and other factors. The issue date will be on or about 8 March 2002. The solicitation and any/all amendments will be posted on www.fedbizopps; however, paper solicitations will also be posted at the contracting office and will be available.
