Description

The Department of the Navy, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, FL (FISC JAX), requires a mail system for the Naval Reserve Recruiting Command, New Orleans, Louisiana. This mail system must also include an accounting system to keep track of each account and have In Line Weighing Capability. This requirement is for a base year period of seven (7) months with three (3) one-year options. This acquisition is being procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) test program authorized in FAR 13.5. This acquisition is a sole source. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Numbered Note 22 applies to this procurement. The applicable (NAICS) North American Industry Classification System Code is 333313 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
