- NA The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) is in process of relocating existing internal laboratory facilities (equipment and furnishings) at both its Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and Adelphi, MD locations. This effort requires disconnecting, rigging, packing or c rating, transporting, fitting up (for electrical, mechanical and other equipment), reinstalling, hooking up, calibrating, disposing, cleaning up and restoring spaces from which the equipment/furnishings were disconnected. A favorable National Agency Check (NAC) shall be required for contractor personnel working on the resultant contract at the Adelphi location, and a favorable Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) background check at the Aberdeen Proving Ground location, prior to award of the contract. Th e North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 235950 - $12,000,000.00. The solicitation is set aside for participation by 8(a) firms only. All responsible 8(a) sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. The solic itation will be available at w3.arl.army.mil/contracts/kosol.htm. Interested parties are asked to submit email notification of their interest to cwinkler@arl.army.mil or by original letter to the address above if email is not available. No telephonic req uests or facsimile will be honored.
