Description
1. The Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs is seeking sources for spcialized investigative equipmnet. 2. This equipment is described as follows: A. 5 each Fiber Optic Scopes with 100 cm x 9mm flexible shaft capable of 2 way articulation control of tip, 2mm working channel, focusable, magnified image. Power handle with standard 5' cord and bright 3 or 4.5v krypton light source (uses 2 or 3 cells). Magnetic retriver, custom foam-lined storage case and B&W video camera and Video Monitor. B. 5 each Receiving/Recording Video/Audio Briefcase System with the following features: Sony GVD-800 high 8 digital recorder/player with 4" color TFT Screen. Recorder to have built-in code wth constant time and date stamp for accurate tracking of events GVD800 to have EEE-1394 firewire port for transfering, storing and editing recorder incidents on a computer with firewire capability. Briefcase to be weather resistant with silicon o-ring to seal case. 3-way power capability with internal 12VDC 8AH battery with charger, 12 VDC from external source and 110 VAC 50 Hz with supplied AC power Cord. Camera to have built-in high resolution low light pin hole B&W camera. Wireless Receiver to be 2.4-2.835 GHz (4 channel) receiver with 14 dB gain directional patch antenna with 12 inch connecting cable and 12 inch external mpunted Panavise adapter for mounting patch antenna. Output level 1.0 vp-p(video) and 1.35vp-p(audio), Sensitivity at -25dB ti -80 dBm, noise figure 3.5 dB. External transmitter and camera devices not required at this time. C. 5 each Time lapse Recorder, 24 hour real time and 960 hours time lapse. VHS 1/2 inch video cassette tape and 110 VAC 60 Hz operation. Built-in time/date generator automatically superimposing complete date and time information including date, hour, minute and second. Toshiba model KV9960 or equal. D. 5 each GPS/Cellular Phone (AMPS) Tracking System. Complete with GPS/Cellular tracking unit, Computer/Telephone line Modem with computer Software and Mapping Software for Mexico required. Computer not part of this requirement. E. 10 each Marantz Model PMD-221 Cassette Recorders, 3 heads, Monaural Operation. Battery and 110 VAC 60 Hz Opeation. F. 10 each Recording Handbag, with Sony or better microcassette recorder, 4 hours, with VOX and Manual control and amplified microphone conceled in a European Style Mens Carry Bag. 3.
