- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Food Safety and Nutrition (CFSAN), has a requirement for the rental of 27 parking spaces for use by the FDA/CFSAN Employees located at 1110 Vermont Ave., N.W. Washington, D.C. This requirement call for the rental of 4 reserved spaces and 23 regular spaces for the period of one year. The parking spaces must be withing a reasonable walking distance of the above-stated address. To ensure some degree of safety for these employees, the following boundaries will be used in determining the final parking lot for the required 27 spaces - M Street, NW., L Street, NW, 14th Street, NW, and 15th Street, NW., Washington, DC. (within walking distance and no further than 2 blocks from the building entrance). Self parking is required without leaving keys in vehicle, control gate(s) or a parking attendant. Access shall consist of automated gate system or having an attendant on duty during working hours. Contractor will be responsible for providing access cards as required. Adequate lighting is required. Paved parking lot and walking is required. All parking spaces must be clearly painted with lines that identify spaces. Four spaces must be mark "Reserved for FDA Only". Parking lot, all walkways, and any related sidewalks shall be kept clear of snow, ice and debris. The contractor shall be resposible for providing 27 parking spaces at any given day or time. It is anticipated that this award will be made on a sole source basis.
