- Description
- The Naval Aviation Depot, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of an Automated Shot Peen System. The Automated Shot Peen System will be used to perform dry peening, inducing residual compressive stresses to specific surfaces of the components listed in paragraph 3.1, a and b, of the Statement of Work. The equipment shall be already developed, state-of-the-art, market proven, commercial test stands with a proven reliability track record. The requested item is commercial in nature and will fall under the purview of commercial items in accordance with Subpart 13.5 ? Test Program for Certain Commercial Items of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Deliver FOB Destination MCAS, Cherry Point, NC. Provide Cage Code, Dun & Bradstreet Number, and Tax Payer?s Identification Number. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. As of 31 May 1999 all Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database as a condition for contract award.
