- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for service to replace rotate bearing and fasteners on a 25 ton portal crane. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, and materials except as specifically identified as Government Furnished Equipment. Place of service is Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, St. Mary's, Georgia. Service shall be performed during the period from 8 April 02 through 1 June 02. Contract will include an optional time and material portion for any additional work required. The unrestricted commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 19 Feb 02 with a closing date of 14 Mar 02. A site visit has been scheduled for 26 Feb 02. Interested contractors must notify the Contracting Office if they are attending the site visit. Per FAR 5.203(h), the solicitation closing date has been reduced to 30 days from this announcement. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12.
