- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0090 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-03 as well as DCN 20020129. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is sole source to Adelwiggins Group, 5000 Triggs Street, Los Angeles, CA 90022. IAW FAR 6.302-1 (a). The Gover nment does not possess the necessary drawings/specifications to allow for open competition. Adelwiggins Group is the orginal equipment manufacturer and has the required proprietary data and replacement parts to ensure the equipment meets the OEM?s specifications. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? Socket, PN: EC250B4, 25 ea. CLIN 0002 - Socket, PN: EC250B12, 18 ea. CLIN 0003 ? Nipple, PN: EC255B4, 25 ea. CLIN 0004 ? Nipple, PN: EC255B12, 18 ea. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 30 days after award. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using S implified Acquisition Procedures.
