Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name Or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 52.211-6.The solicitation docu ment and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-04 (8 February 02) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 2002129. It is anticipated t hat payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 339112 with size standard of 500 employees. . The requirement shall consist of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, Bullard MX Thermal Image r: Vax Microbolometer Technology. Thermal Imager with direct charge System. Two 10 Volt NIMH Rechargeable Batteries. Direct charge Battery charger with AC and DC Adapters. Shoulder and wrist strap. Product orientation CD and Carry Case. The Manufacture i s Bullard, 18987 Safety Way, Cynthiana, KY 41031 All quotes shall be clearly marked with this Solicitation number W81R8T20360015 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil or Fax 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mountain Standard Time (MST) 5:00 P.M. 20 February 02. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 252.212-7001 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to resp onsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on a acceptability and price.
