- The Department of Air Force is seeking qualified entities for a housing privatization project at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas. The project would entail owning and renovating, operating, and maintaining 1,535 Family Housing Units on Little Rock AFB for the benefit of Air Force families for a period of 50 years or more. The transaction is supported by a lease of approximately 428 acres and the conveyance of 1,535 housing units. The Air Force's goal is to provide military families access to safe, quality, affordable, well-maintained housing in a community where they will choose to live. An Industry Forum will be conducted at Little Rock AFB on March 13, 2002 at the “Airlifter” Club. The purpose of the forum is to provide pertinent information on the project and corresponding solicitations expected to be released in April 2002.
