- BOOTS, INFANTRY COMBAT: NSN: 8430-01-442-5501. Base Year Quantity: 339,945 Pair (Minimum) 935,004 Pair (Maximum); Four term options, quantity for each year: 326,346 Pair Minimum 679,890 Pair Maximum. Contract(s) will utilize Bill and Hold procedures and shall be manufactured in accordance with Purchase Description 97-3B, utilizing Commercial Lasts, with no patterns available. Production Leadtime: 120 days. Procurement will be issued on an Unrestricted/Set-Aside basis and will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures. NOTE THE FOLLOWING AS AN INCLUSION TO SP0100-02-R-0016: THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE IS PROHIBITED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE BERRY AMENDMENT FROM PROCURING ITEMS OF CLOTHING THAT HAVE NOT BEEN GROWN OR PRODUCED IN THE UNITED STATES OR ITS POSSESSIONS. THE DEFENSE SUPPLY CENTER, PHILADELPHIA HAS A DOMESTIC NONAVAILABILITY DETERMINATION WAIVER TO THE APPROPRIATIONS ACT FOR CAMBRELLE LINING MATERIAL. Note 13: Contracts are restricted to domestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302.3. Accordingly, foreign sources, except Canadian sources are not eligible for award. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(A)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
