Description: This solicitation is to provide lookout services to detect and report smokes or fires within and adjacent to the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest; to monitor and relay radio messages; observe and report state of the weather, i.e., thunderstorms, and take weather readings when requested. The solicitation will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov or you may request hard copy from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest contracting section at 541-523-1209. Desired start work date is June 25, 2002.
