- Specifications for Water Treatment Skid main unit: (1) Equipment must have 1 micron absolute filtration.No more no less.(2) Unit must be available in a size ranger for 25 GPM to 100 GPM in 25 in 50 GPM steps (3) Supplier must provide NSF 61 certification for all parts of the proposed system (4) Supplier must show that the system is "Direct Integrity Testable" in the field. "Direct Integrity Testable is defined in the "Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule" committee report as found on the EPA web site. (5) Supplier must show unit will meet a log 4.5 removal of Cryptosporidium. (6) Supplier must show how the unit will meet the "Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule". The "Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule" is defined in committee report as found on the EPA Web site. (7) Supplier must show intent to acquire one or more of the following. Intent is defined as an application or letter for each individual section the suppliers wish to acquirer. Supporting documents including lab or studies must be included (a) NSF 58 (b) EPA ETV Test protocol for alternate technologies (c) Washington State Department of Health approval for Cryptosporidium removal. (8) Unit must not generate a chemical waste stream. (9) Unit must fit inside of a standard overseas shipping container (10) unit may not have more than 20 PSI pressure drop across the unit. (11) Unit may not have a waste stream during processing. (12) The supplier must provide an integrated solution including PLC, Prefilteration, Chlorine Feed equipment.
