- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, USZA96-02-Q-0001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The associated NAICS code is 611699 and small business size standard is $5M. Line Item 0001 - Provide three (3) US Coast Guard approved Master, up to 100 gross tons courses at NAB Little Creek (once USCG site apporval is obtained by contractor) for three (3) groups of twelve (12) quota's each; provide six (6) US Coast Guard approved Radar Unlimited courses for six (6) groups of six (6) quota's each; provide license application services for up to thrity-six (36) students seeking a USCG license up to 100 gross tons. Course presentation sequence will be the eleven (11) day 100 gross ton course, followed by one-five (5) day radar unlimited course followed by one-five (5) day radar unlimited course with the first series being conducted during the March/April 2002 time frame, the second being conducted during the July/August 2002 time frame, and the third being conducted during the September 2002 time frame (exact dates to be finalized). Remedial assistance for students of the 100 GT course that may need it will be provided during the week of the first radar presentation following that course. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as well as FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms & Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
