- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Disicipline, seeks sources to manufacture tapes to measure water levels in ground water wells and surface water bodies (rivers, lakes, streams). The tapes shall be constructed in lengths from 100 to 500 feet with a surface that will accept chalk, salt, or other marking compounds to produce a wet line when dipped in water. Tapes are required to have graduated markings in feet throughout, with a minimum of 30 feet graduated in feet, tenths of a foot, and hundredths of a foot, at the beginning of the tape.
