Description
The Government intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price type Contract for SNAP/STAR Financial Systems Reconciliation Software as requested by the Naval Audit Service Washington DC. The period of performance for the resulting contract will be 60 days. The contractor will be required to provide financial software as indicated in 15 specific UIC's as pre-defined by the Contracting Officers Representative. A complete listing of these activities, their locations and a point of contact will be provided to the contractor 30 days after award. This procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 6 Other Than Full and Open Competition. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services. The commercial solicitation shall be issued on or about 5 February 2002. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
