Description

Sustaining Engineering Services for Navy T-34C, T-44A and C-12 series aircraft in support of the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland. An Indefinite Delivery, Requirements type, Time and Materials contract is expected to be issued in fourth quarter fiscal year 2002. A sole-source award to the original equipment manufacturer, Raytheon Aircraft Company, is anticipated based on FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Navy T-34C, T-44A and C-12 series aircraft were procured commercial off-the-shelf. Technical data, including specifications and drawings, were not procured by the Government and are proprietary to Raytheon Aircraft Company. The contractor will be required to assess and track Service Life requirements for these aircraft types.
