99 -- Notice of Withdrawal and Re-issue for Prospectus Package CC-GRTE008-03 under which a concession contract will be awarded for the operation of guided fishing services within Grand Teton National Park.

Description
The National Park Service intends to withdraw one solicitation for guided fishing trips issued on November 28, 2001, and reissue a Prospectus for renewal of 1 concession contract to provide for guided fishing trips in Grand Teton National Park. The existing concessioner misconstrued an extension letter for cancellation of the prospectus. The term of the contract is for seven years. No government owned facilities or structures will be assigned in the park for use by this concessioner. No capital investment is required during the new contract. Any offeror that is selected as a new concessioner is not obligated to purchase any personal property (equipment, merchandise and supplies) of the existing concessioner. The existing concessioner has a permit with the National Park Service, which expires on December 31, 2002. The Director pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51 has determined that this is a qualified contract and the existing concessioner Jack Dennis Fishing Trips is a preferred offeror. Any offer,including that of the existing concessioner must be received in the Business Resources Division (IMDE-CM), National Park Service, Intermountain Region, P.O. Box 25287, Denver, CO 80225 or Federal Express Address 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228, no later than 30 days after the date of the publication of this notice in order to evaluate and consider an award for the concession contract. The reissue of this prospectus will be for a 30-day response period under the terms described in the Prospectus due on March 6, 2002, no later than 4:00 p.m. There is a cost recover charge of $35 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $30 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
