- NA The Walla Walla district Corps of Engineers intends to award a SOLE SOURCE commercial item contract to Hydroacoustic Technology, Inc. in accordance with the authority in FAR 13.5. Subject contract will be for coded ultrasonic transmitters for research pur poses. Research is to support critical Anadromous Fish Evaluation Program. These tags are for a tracking system presently owned by the Corps which employ proprietary encoding scheme. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A d etermination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The size standard for small business concerns under NAICS 334511 is 750 employees.
