Description
The 39th Contracting Squadron will be soliciting an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements Contract (SABER). Projects under this IDIQ contract will consist of construction work based on a general statement of work further defined within each individual task order. Work to be performed under the SABER will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes Sector 23 - Construction, Subsector 233 - Building, Developing and General Contracting, Sub sector 234 - Heavy Construction, and Sub sector 235 - Special Trade Contractors, to include maintenance, repair, alteration, mechanical, electrical, heating/air conditioning, demolition, painting, paving, and earthwork in industrial/office buildings on Incirlik AB (Adana, Turkey), Ankara Support facilities (Ankara, Turkey), and other geographically separated units located throughout Turkey. All potential offerors will submit past performance information on any all government contracts for the past 3 years. Past performance information is required to be relevant and recent, and encompass project scopes ranging from $50,000 and up. Contract actions relative to work on Incirlik AB or other US facilities should include contracts with VBR, CTF, JOC, Base Contracting, etc. All past performance information shall include the following: contract number, period of performance, contract value, project title, government agency contracted, and government project engineer. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 April 02. The solicitation may be obtained by downloading through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) (Vendor). ATTENTION POTENTIAL OFFERORS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD OF THIS SOLICITATION DUE TO ESTABLISHED ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY, THE AIR FORCE INTENDS TO AWARD THIS SOLICITATION TO A BUSINESS CONCERN WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY. THEREFORE, PROPOSALS FROM BUSINESS CONCERNS OUTSIDE OF TURKEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
