- Description
- This request for information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, a synopsis of a solicitation, or a commitment on the government to later publish a solicitation or award a contract based on the information received. The Government shall not reimburse the costs of preparing responses to this RFI. The 22nd Air Refueling Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, intends to issue a formal RFP in the May/June 2002 timeframe for the acquisition of Aircraft Services. The estimated contract period including all options is 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2007. The successful contractor shall/may perform transient and other aircraft services, such as: escort services, major and minor inspection, major or minor maintenance, equipment maintenance, assisting maintenance recovery teams in extensive repairs, arrival services, processing services, departure services, aviators breathing oxygen servicing and fleet services. The Government requests interested parties who are HUB Zone certified and that possess the technical capability to perform these services to respond to the point of contact. This will assist the government in planning the aquisition. FAR 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) is hereby incorporated in this RFI by reference.
