Description

The subject acquisition is to provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform food service attendant services at the McConnell AFB Appropriated Fund food service operations which consist of two facilities, the Chisholm Trail Inn and the Plains Inn Flight Kitchen. The Chisholm Trail Inn is a full service dining facility to include carry out service. The Plains Inn Flight Kitchen provides boxed meals for passengers and crews in support of flying missions on a 24-hour basis and to customers requesting them in support of ground operations and requires housekeeping services only. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; bussing tables in dining areas; performing cashier services; handling foods, equipment, and supplies; preparing vegetables and fruits for the Flight Kitchen; maintaining quality control; ensuring operator maintenance and minor/major repair of food service equipment; and in the event of contingency, perform all required tasks to include cooking to ensure continued service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 72231. The estimated performance period is 1 July 2002 through 30 June 2003 with four twelve-month option years and the possibility of five twelve-month award terms. The Government requests interested parties who are 8(a) certified and HUBZone certified to respond to the point of contact to allow the Government to plan for the acquisition competition. Request for Proposal 8(a) contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. Award cannot be made to an 8(a) contractor not registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. This request is for information only; it does not constitute a proposal and does not obligate the Government in any way. Responses are due no later than close of business 15 February 2001. Should the Government decide to issue a Solicitation it will be an all-electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation and Amendments will be posted to www.eps.gov. ESTIMATED REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL RELEASE DATE: 1 APRIL 2002. ESTIMATED PROPOSAL CLOSING DATE: 30 APRIL 2002.
