- Description
- This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 233210 as well as the Standard Industry Code (SIC) of 1521. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located within the National Historic District at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. The Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and the Federal Advisory Council on Historic Preservation have approved the project drawings and specifications. Therefore, the Base Historic Preservation Officer must approve any deviations. This project entails complete removal and disposal of three existing garage structures and construction of new garages including installation of new overhead doors and salvaged electrical fixtures. This work includes, but is not limited to, removing and disposing of existing garage structures, removing and constructing one garage foundation, erecting three new garages, installing metal siding and roof shingles, installing interior plywood partitions and salvaged electrical fixtures. Lead based paint has been identified on all painted garage components. Proper procedures pertaining to the disposal of lead based paint is required. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is twenty eight (28) calendar days. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about February 20, 2002, with a closing date 15 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a request for Quotation -- lowest responsive price. This solicitation will not be available via the internet but will be available through the 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren Air Force Base Cheyenne, Wyoming.
