This is a Synopsis for purchase of Line Item: 0001, TRAILER-ENG INSTALATION, P/N: CA-MODEL-4160C, Qty: 1 EA, and Line Item: 0002, CART, FUSELAGE/LIGHT WT, P/N: LA-RG130, Qty: 3 EA, and Line Item: 0003, DOLLY-AFT FUSELAGE, P/N: LA-RG733-1, Qty: 3 EA; Delivery: 19 JULY 2002, FOB: Destination, Inspection/Acceptance: Destination, Inspection/Acceptance&Quality: FAR 52.246-2 Inspection of Supplies-Fixed Price, Transportation: FAR 52.247-34, FOB Destination, Evidence of Shipment FAR 52.247-48, Commercial Bill of Lading Notation; Packaging: Contractor?s Best Commercial Packaging for CONUS; Note: Preserved and Marked for individual unit of issue purposes. For Data Packet contact David Whiddon, LRL, 478-926-8401. The proposed contract will be firm-fixed priced and planned to be competed among qualifying vendors. Vendors are advised that quote for these items should be on an ?all or none? basis. To all potential offerors, Request For Quote will be posted as an attachment to synopsis on 25 February 2002. If your concerns are not satisfied, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
