Description

This synopsis is to provide notice of contract action on a one source basis to provide Visual Information services at Maxwell AFB for one month, 1 April 2002 through 30 April 2002. Two-one-month option periods of 1 May 2002 through 31 May 2002 and 1 June 2002 through 30 June 2002, and FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services are being incorporated. The extension is necessary in order to continue existing services until a new Visual Information services contract is solicited and awarded. The Government proposes to award the extension to the incumbent contractor, Capitol Filmworks Inc, under contract number F01600-97-C-0006. The proposed contract action for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A solicitation is not available. Any responses to this synopsis other than the source listed must be received by close of business, 20 Feb 2002. This in neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for an offer. See numbered note 1.
