- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has a requirement for Reservoirs of Antibiotic Resistance (ROAR) which involves the development and continuation of an electronic network to link scientists who are research the issue of intimicrobial resistance. This requirement will involve the maintenance and expansion of an electronic network and website on the issue of antimicrobial resistance, and conducting two public meetings. The contractor, the Alliance for Prudent Use of Antibiotics, will restore its listserve to the level of activity and maintenance it previously had. The contractor will conduct this activity from its own facilities, using its own staff and expertise. This award will be made on a sole-source basis to Kathy Young, Boston, MA. It is the Government's belief that this person is the only source available with the required knowledge and experience required to provide this requirement. Therefor, no solicitation will result.
