- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, intents to contract for one each Molded, Steel Reinforced, Rubber Seal for Dry Dock Caissons. The seals are to be manufactured using the following Specifications: QQ-S-781, Strapping, Steel, and Seals; MIL-B-121F, Barrier Material, Greaseproofed, Waterproofed, Flexible; MIL-P-11520F, Preservative Coating, Rubber. Seals must be manufactured and received no later than 7 June 2002. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 326299 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Award to be FOB: Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of offers will be 15 February 2002.
