Description

NA The MEDCOM Contracting Center is proposing to award a firm, fixed-priced contract, with a base period of 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2002 and 1 option period of 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003, for full food service and kitchen equipment m aintenance at 2 dining facilities on Fort Sam Houston TX and 3 dining facilities on Camp Bullis TX. This is an unrestricted procurement and the Government intends to conduct full and open competition for this procurement to allow the Texas Commission for the Blind to submit an offer under the Randolph-Sheppard Act. The Government will furnish the facilities, equipment, initial expendable durable supplies, and subsistence. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, uniforms, administration support, and s upervision and all other non-Government Furnished Property to accomplish the requirements of the contract. Solicitations will be issued on or about 28 Feb 02, with proposals due on or about 8 Apr 02. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be cond ucted. The date, time, and location will be announced at a later date. Interested offerors should request a copy of the solicitation in writing on company letterhead, with point of contact and telephone number included, from MEDCOM Contracting Center, M CAA-C-SS (Robert C. Rosales) 2107 17th Street, Bldg 4197, Ft Sam Houston TX 78234-5015. Telephone requests will not be accepted. There will be a $25.00 charge for each solicitation request. Checks should be made out to the US Treasury and submitted with your request. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 722310 and the corresponding Standard Industrial Classificati on System code is 5812, with the size standard being $15 million.
