- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-02-T-0050 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable provisions and clauses. The clauses may be accessed in full text at the addresses: http://www.arnet.gov and http://www.acq.osd.mil. This is a Small-Business/Small-Purchase set-aside. The Procurement Center - CNRNE requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: QTY 15 Prefabricated buildings with the following pecifications: 4 ft by 4 ft by 7 ft approximate using mechanical and/or welded fasteners; floor to be insulated and non-slip; ceiling to be insulated, able to support over 50 lbs per square foot live load with roof drains and gutter system; windows: safety glass, aluminum frames; walls to be insulated; door - swing, left hung with hinges, door closer, lockable, upper half - safety glass, lower half - aluminum panel insulated; electrical system wired to national electric code standards using conduit, one ground fault interrupter (gfi) duplex receptacle/20 volts, 15 amperes; lights - one 24 in, two fluorescent lamps with safety covers, light switch to be located to the right of the door opening looking at the front of the booth; heater, wall mounted, 5000 btu's, 120 volts, 1500 watts, adjustable thermostat, steel cabinet; work counter, 16 in wide x 30 in high, aluminum, steel, or plywood, opposite entrance; weather proof electrical connection on outside of booth opposite entrance - exterior grade surface mounted inlet connection with exposed terminals 5/115 - 15 amp/120v to receive female end of an extension cord to power up the booth; able to be moved by forklift or crane - must have baseframe with sleeves to receive forks. FOB Destination pricing is required. Delivery of assembled buildings to the Naval Submarine Base, Groton, CT is required not later than 08 March 2002. Quotation shall include at a minimum: Unit price FOB Destination, a point of contact name and phone number; payment terms, and all provision information called for in 52.212-3. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this procurement: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror epresentations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items ; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items Clauses Checked under 52.212-5 are 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33). All clauses shall be incorporated by reference into the resultant order. Additional contract terms and conditions applicable to this procurement are DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (no clauses checked); 252.204-7001 Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code; 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors who are not registered in the Central Contractor Registraion (CCR) database. Registration may be done by accessing the CCR Web site at http://www.ccr.gov. A paper registration form may be obtained from the DOD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 800-334-3414. No numbered notes apply. This announcement will close at 3:00PM Connecticut time on 1 February 2002. All responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
