- 1 ORDER FOR 50 BOXES 8040-01-288-5861 UI: BX ADHESIVE : DESCRIPTION A foaming film adhesive used for splicing honeycomb core under zero pressure, bonding inserts of edge members to core local honeycomb core reinforcement for shear strength. Size: The product shall be furnished in 30 sq ft total quantities as 1 ft X 2 ft X 100 mil thick sheets with full release papers on both sides and packaged in an insulated box with sufficient dry ice to maintain the temperature at or below -40 deg. F in accordance with the supplier's normal commercial practice. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the container or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The boxes shall be closed in a manner that will insure the contents will not be lost from the container during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Shelf life code: 2 (6 months) Maximum age on delivery: 2 months Cytec-Fiberite Inc. p/n FM 410-1 or Loctite/Dexter-Hysol p/n Synspand 9899.1CF. ITEM MARKING Special marking on each item shall include: (1) governing specification data, including specification number, type, class, form, group, etc. as appropriate (2) manufacturer's name and part number(s) (3) lot or batch number (4) dates of manufacture and reinspection (5) instructions for use, curing, etc. (6) instructions for storage including, "refrigerate or freeze upon arrival" for items requiring cold storage. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the FED-STD-123G, dated June 6, 1997, or marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997, as applicable. MSDS MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR QUOTE
