- Description
- This is a requirement for Mess Attendant services for the galley at West Loch, Naval Magazine, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Period of performance is 1 July 2002 through 30 September 2002 with four (4) one year option periods (1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003; 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004; 1 October 2004 through 30 September 2005, 1 October 2005 through 30 September 2006). The requirement includes FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. As such, a period of up to six (6) additional months may be unilaterally added to the end of the contract period in increments as determined by the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to award to other than the lowest priced offeror in accordance with the best value criteria stated in the solicitation. The Government intends to use FAR Part 12 for the acquisition. The Government anticipates issuing Solicitation N00604-02-R-A008 with its Attachments and Exhibits and posting it to the FedBizOpps website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 27 February 2002. No telephonic requests will be considered. Subsequent amendments to the solicitation, if any, will only be promulgated via the referenced web page. The Government will not mail, fax, or email the solicitation or any amendment thereto. Because this will be a web based solicitation, a Bidders Mailing list will not be maintained. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced web page early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. The Government web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the referenced web page.
