- NSWC, Carderock Division Philadelphia, intends to procure on a Sole Source basis, Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract to Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. for Engineering, technical and logistic support services, including the engineering and technical personnel and facilities requried to develop and integrate technological improvemens focused on the logistic support of the maintenance processes for the US Navy. Additionally, the contractor will provide program and marine engineering, technical and logistics support for condition assessment and advance technolog development, implementation and execution, and prototype development for naval ship systems in surface ship and submarine hulls for the Systems Integration and Program Development Office. Work performed under this contract includes, but is not limited to maintenance strategies, planning and program management support, mainteance en gineering, systems engineering, logistics engineering, and test & evaluation engineering. The level of effort for this support is estimated at 59,394 man-hours.
