Description

NA This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Carolina Telephone & Telegraph dba SPRINT for Lease, Maintenance and Upgrade of an Existing TekNet Integrated Telecommunications System for the Fort Bragg Schools, Fort Bragg, North Caroli na under the authority of FAR 6.302. The Integrated Telecommunications System consist of a fully digital electronic private automatic branch which performs all voice communication, signaling, medial retrieval, voice mail, facsimile, reporting, access, sec urity control functions for each school. The integrated systems equipment consists of administrative equipment performing public address phones, all-call microphone and computer control panels, distribution equipment consisting of a television distributio n system, video source and retrieval system, video all-call system source patch and system input panel, and retrieval and retrieval system, video all-call system source patch and system input panel, and retrieval activity logging system which integrates wi th the nine (9) schools and school administration located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The performance period is 1 June 2002 through 31 May 2003, plus four (4) one-year option periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This information will be considered only if there is clear and convincing evidence that the interested sources can meet the Government's requirement. For determ ining business size on this project, the NAICS Code is 513310, and to be considered a small business under this code a firm may have no more than 1500 employees. The FSC/Service Code is S113. All responses must be received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone responses will be honored.
