- Description
- The 437th Contracting Squadron, Charleston AFB SC, intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract for preventive maintenance, inspections and repair of various types of washers and dryers at various buildings on Charleston AFB SC. The resultant contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials and supervision, and other items as necessary to provide preventive maintenance, inspections and repair of Washers and Dryers. The proposed contract is being considered as 100% set aside for small business. This acquisition will be accomplished as a commercial purchase using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13. The performance period is one base year beginning 1 Apr 02 through 30 Sep 02, with 4 one year option periods. Basis of award will be price and past performance being weighed as equal factors. Release of the solicitation will be via the internet only. Interest parties may download the solicitation from http://www.eps.gov, where it is expected to be posted on or about 15 Feb 02. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. The closing date and time of submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr2000.com prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will render the offeror ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 532210 and size standard $5.0 apply.
