- Description
- HUBZONE SOURCES SOUGHT: We are looking for HUBZone certified firms interested in a Coast Guard armed guard services requirement at Ketchikan, Alaska. A competitive HUBZone set-aside is anticipated. The armed guard service requirement is for two guards on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week basis. The base year is estimated to begin 1 June 2002 and run through 31 May 2003 with four, one year option periods. The concern must be a HUBZone small business concern as defined in CFR Title 13, Part 126.103. In accordance with CFR Title 13, Part 126.200, at least 35% of a HUBZone certified firm's employees must reside within a HUBZone. Please be aware that Ketchikan, Alaska is NOT considered a HUBZone area. The resultant contractor must maintain the minimum 35% HUBZone employee requirement throughout the performance of this contract. A firm's continued HUBZone certification will be confirmed prior to exercising any options on this contract.
